The Disco has not been the best for Off Roading.... a few trips Green Laning, , a couple of Ploughed fields, and a couple of Off Road courses , have shown the D3's weakness's.. not in its ability it does it all with grace and ease.... But the Build Quality/strength... the list as follows
New Rear Callipers... apparently prone to sezzing when used off road/mud
New Rear Discs/Hub/Pads/shoes... mud gets in parking break and sezzies them up
New Alternator and battery... Alternator had loads of grit in.. that went into fault mode and shorted battery out
Height Sensor Connector Mod... Connectors are not up to the Job as standard.... get water and mud in...
Two sets of front swinging arms due to bush wear....dirt and weight of front end encourages wear...
one broken tail gate light.... Opps... dam thing is bonded on....
Over £2000 work of Labour/parts all since May
Just made an offer on a 200tdi Defender... so will be back off roading on a regular basis... but keeping the Posh one for road work...
