Just remembered, forget the ford at Dunmow it was well over 4' deep,

I reversed out the Dunmow lane and saw the others out, and everyone drove off.

Anyone go over to the wooded area on the Ongar rd near Bentley golf course, I took my D2 over there couple of days ago but need some decent tyres and not good on your own! 
Used to go there when I had a Suzuki and my mate had a series but did get stuck a few times so had to pull each other out

If that's the wood at the end of the lane,Think you'll find that wood is not a green lane and ####ing about in it will do none of us any favours, this is the reason lanes are being closed.

I was only on the lane it self not in the wooded bit, I did see off roader tracks in there that's why I asked

If you want to play there are soo many options.
Go to a pay and play,
Take part in a competition,
I drove past that location a couple of weeks ago. All you see is insa special track tyres and holes dug it's going to get the nearby lane closed no doubt.

We created a group a few years ago for a few of us that had been going out green laning for a while called 'Essex Mud Monkeys' then created a Facebook page to keep in touch. This got out of hand as new people were added with no control so it's had a recent cull.
Anybody who comes on here and wants to come along to either our laning trips or our occasional pub meets will be welcome to join once we have at least met you.
I wondered why I got culled off there !!
