Gents had some bad news today, the old boy that I bought a 90 for at the beginning of the year had it stollen last night off his drive, looks like its that time of year again, scumbags, so just a heads up to keep ya fenders locked up well and be on your guard.

We will be there. Any idea where you are going?

How about Violets? Might be a bit damper now. ;)

Sounds like a good idea!! i was thinking the same, and then would be rude not to visit standon ford!

On that pic its just tacked on to the return edges of the crossmember, there is a plate that then fits into the member to tie it all together, you can see it on this pic (and my dodgy painting as well):

Its got 4 plates like this, its not going anywhere this member, just need to rewire the back end, fit the starter and alternator, clutch slave and master, stick up the roof lining, get the washers sorted, fit the boost and oil gauge and mount the rear recovery points... not to much to do then!

Nice one just thought i would mention incase it had not been welded.......

How did you manage to cut the small plates up:confused:

I made 2 more to completely box it in in the end, I added a small drain hole towards the bottom of the replacement chassis sections to allow the water out as its bound to get in somewhere...
There should have been 4 small plates to completely box it in

Ah, I only had 2, I did think that. It don't matter, I used the off cut off from the chassis plates so it's same gauge e.t.c.

This thing will never be moving, the quality is top notch! Well happy with, looking forward to putting it to the test...

probably best I try and get over to Anglia hose in the morning then. 7 connectors for the breather kit isn't it? 3/8th? How many straight and how many 90?

Well just got in from work gonna shower and head down the barn to put the disco back together and hopefully get the trailer repaired. Fun times.
