Late update, but glad everyone enjoyed essex off road was a great day out!!

Think Chris got a load of pics, still fixing bits on the landy. managed to destroy a trailing arm chassis bush so has 2 inches of wheel movement for half the day, wore my front pads to nothing, destroyed a diff cross pin and wreck the diff and in the process snap the splines clean off my front passenger half shaft somehow and put a hole in my front diff pan.

And passenger side top swivel pin is wrecked.

apart from that its all good, and im slowly getting my way through the repairs lol.

Just a few minor bits then!!

Are you 24 spline or earlier 10 spline stuff? I have got a load of 10 spline bits here that are going scrappy in a few days if you need any of them...

Supprized you managed to get home under your own steam with that list of damage;) was a good day thou even with all the breakages, still arguing with the supplier of my clutch, they really don't want to replace under warranty and are dragging their heals but as it only did 3.5k I am not going to give up:D

Come on then chris where's all those pics ya got;):D

Who supplied it? Beck & Borg will replace under warranty no problem, I had the rep guarantee me this the other week, the supplier has no choice in the matter, it needs to go to B&B and they will sort it out. Its clearly a failure of the clutch plates...

Was supplied by mailoder4x4, keep getting excuses from them, they are now saying that they are awaiting bearmach to make a decision although I don't understand what it has to do with them , next call I make to them this afternoon if they dont call me back will be a threat to plaster the issues I'm having with them on all the lr forums which won't be good for business, I know it's only a £100 but the point is it comes with a 2 year unlimited mileage guarantee so I'm not going to give up :D

Thay have a legal obligation to return the unit to the manufacturer (B&B), they do not make the decisions themselves. They may not replace F.O.C yet but instead offer a refund once B&B have made a decision, either way its not them who make this decision. Tell them that you will refer this to trading standards as a breach of the sales of goods act if they do not send it to the manufacturer.

I'll have any 10 spline rear shaft's you have,;) I've got a spare diff in the shed ready & waiting.

I think i may need my rears im afraid as I am using that axle for a trailer axle and need the ends of the shafts to keep the bearings closed in... I am doing it today so will let you know...

Ok, no problem. I don't need any yet .
Was just thinking they would be good to keep a spare, cos you never know.

Well decided to give bearmach a call as mail order 4x4 quoted they needed to make the decision,i explained that I felt like they where fobbing me off and what had been happening, within 5mins of getting off the phone to bearmach I had a call from mail order 4x4 saying they are shipping a new item out and will be sending a courier to collect the old one:D;) happy days

And that drop on the 4th is a killer, did you do it? I left that one in my disco, I did see a RRC end up on its side and spill all its oil into the pool at the bottom before...

Looks like the same place Jon, the front was dug in. The drop off can be done but only in a fender ;), the back will get stuck in a disco.

A couple more for ya.
