200mm wide vinyl for now cos I can always paint after if I want to, just don't know how long it will last. 24 hours I think after tomorrow.

The vinyl I used to use on vehicles had a 7 year guaranteed life. I reckon you'll get at least a few years out of it on a land rover

This one said 5/6 years but it is a land rover, mud, water & over hanging trees.

My land rover ones on my disco have lasted well with all the trees and sharp bits that were hanging around Suffolk.

Hi nick, if your still on here quick mm question, have you got a place index on your maps. When I try to find a place with the onscreen icon I'm told no index file.

I click on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen
Then this page is opened and then I just start typing the place, which unfortunately does not work with postcodes.

Have done that but gt amessage box saying location index file not found with this map, how many files did you transfer mm says just two

What a great day at Tyes farm, good seeing some faces and trying the Disco out after its engine woes... I would say it was a problem free day but unfortunately not, the fuel return line broke free and I lost 1/4 tank before I realised and then on the way home the alternator bearings went, it was smoking it was that bad! I got the AA to tow me back so no damage done, on a plus side the AA driver has a 300TDi Disco for sale, gearbox is gone but he wants scrap price for it so every cloud an all that...
Oh and thanks graham for the many recoverys today, those puddles are very deceptive lol

As promised matt here's a few close ups of the bumper
Hope you can see how I got the tubes on without cutting in to the tray.
All finished now, split charge is working wired off the alternator, so opens only when charging just got to get a decent batt next week.

Not sure if I'm happy with where I put the no plate but it will do for now,

Your welcome & thanks for the tow as well.
My day wasn't without problems, blow off a intercooler pipe but didn't find out till on the way home. Then I turned my dislocation cone upside down a couple of week ago & they came loss, lucky I found out when I got home.
