Some good pics there stu looks like you guys had fun

will try and come on the 27th as I got me new fuel tank fitted today, what a bitch of a job

had to crack all the nuts wit a hammer and chisel as they where all seized

and me hands are frozen, just got to bolt the seats and floor back in tomorrow, and that's it for the winter months on the landy unless Santa bring me a lift kit

So any updates mat on the td5 90 situation

Sounds like you had some fun there Ian, you should come think you'll find it fun, most people do, hope fully I'll have my bushes done for the 27th, and a new tyre or I may be on the camera duty again. oh and dont forget the mince pies.

bloody cambelt snapped on the fender today

may be a seized tensioner made a funny noise just before it went, looks like im gonna be spending Wednesday getting her back on the road. thanks for helping me out brian!

Nearly always ok because the valves run vertical so normally a case of new pushrods maybe rockers and a new belt, im praying anyway because another defender 200tdi is a small fortune so i might as well go td5 if thats the case

Got a little more sorted on my stainless exhaust today. It's taking shape but ran out of TIG welding rods so stopped Nearly at the back now..... need to make my mind up on the exit next. Dual pipe out the back? Dual pipe with one out each side? Standard exit? Standard side exit? Decisions, decisions...

Sorry I was rushed, not feeling good + far too much going on at once & work was **** u til I got a nice phone call this evening cancelling the meeting at hq.

Yeh i changed it when i first got it in june ill see if i can find out what caused it and report back, think it was a continental belt

Most of the time it's just push rods. Just hope it's not going to be expensive.
