Joy my daily driver the Passat had to be towed home by the RAC tonight. Looks to be piston ring failure.
Just gonna go outside and pluck some money out of thin air to buy a new runaround.

eBay time my friend. You must have hundreds of pounds worth of junk in your barn getting in the way.

Yep been looking at Passats and Golfs. Can't wait till i'll sold everything as I'll have to use the Landy for work from monday and the fuel bill will probably take most of my wages lol

Looks like the overdraft will be taking a beating.

Huge thanks to Matt and Stu for todays rusts attack.
Stu got to use the plasma cutter, even left him on his own, cutting away at my pride and joy.

Just need to hammerite and then rebuild the interior.

Only took a few photos:

I brought a replacement mirror today and while I was there picked up some rear seats, boot trim and carpet and rear door card. Now my boot is fairly tidy and more in line with the rest of the interior.
I spent a bit but now don't need a chequer plate rear card any more.

I've got a leak one of my new tyres, only the rim but a pain all the same.

It would depend on what you want mate, If it going to be just a plain play toy and you realy want a fender, maybe save up for something you want, but to look at it, a good all rounder as you already know is the disco, not many places that a fender can go a disco cant.

The way I am looking at it a Disco cost's less, add a few mod's, saying that you could prob buy a disco with most the mod's done for that money, if you dont leave it too long into the autumn,

Then come play with us:D:D:D:D

Do we have to answer that........

Or dont come and play with us.........

Saying that you could still use that Tesco's tow rope with it.
