2002 Td5 auto.
My idle speed is varying between 750 and 1000rpm, but only when the engine is warm. No other problems when driving, but pull up and put the car in N or P and the revs will intermittently rise up and down randomly.
I haven't put Nanocom on it yet (but will) and unplugging the MAF doesn't stop it.
Any thoughts?

i'll be waiting for the result instead of guessing;)
Predictably, it has done it since posting  . Actually, since plugging the MAF back in, but pretty sure that will just be a coincidence.
I'll keep the Nanocom connected for a while and see what happens.

Hola
My 2008 2.4 puma (I know completely different engine) but may help… did the exact same thing.

Changed oil filter etc Nothing.
Changed the MAF sensor Nothing.
Changed the vcv fuel valve Nothing, but definitely made a huge difference to the accelerator response/smoother…

Changed the injectors and associated gasket/seals… the erratic idle disappeared solved that problem for me! 😀

I did the injectors and seals just over two years ago, so I hope it's not that!

After a few days of behaving itself, the erratic idle speed came back. I recorded a few rises and falls on the Nanocom but I don't see anything that seems odd other than the revs changing....

Odd, it says I can't attach a .csv file?
