Hi good people,

I have bought back my first L322, that I sold some years ago. It is a project now, but a good one. It has had water sipping in the back and the entertainment system is dead. Completely. If i turn on ignition, the screen will be black but backlit. Small red light blinking red if I try turning it on. The screen slides if I push the eject button for the cassette player.

Fuses 8 and 49 okey. Fuse on the radio module okey.

Connections bear signs of damp, but have cleaned them of. Opened the DSP amp. Dry and nice on the inside, but connections were "green".

The navigation unit in the back is dead. No sign of life.

I am not sure where to look for faults. I could randomly change parts, but hate doing that.

More than likely water ingress into the entertainment unit in the rear pass side boot area, look for dampness / green or damaged connectors, as you say there was evidence there, the DSP or tv or radio unit will be damaged in my opinion

Yeah I think you are right. Which one is the entertainment unit? Its obviously been damp in there.

These to wires came loose on the connection for the entertainment module. The red one did go into the module on the side but i cant tell where.
