Hi All.

well, my engine warning light has come on.
L322 4.4 (BMW).

Is this a hard fault?

Probably needs diagnostics? Would an all comms be good enough?

I am in the US next week, so could pick one up then.

thanks.

diagnostics yes !

hard fault, could well be serious. try not to use the car if you don't have too.

All comms should find most faults

What are the parameters....i.e was there any odd behaviour before it happened?

Sometimes a Lambda Sensor going out of range due to a hiccup can bring the MIL on....mine did similar.

All Comms will do the trick!

I have the same thought as you.

I think it is a 'non signal' more than anything else.

I'll pick up an all comms later in the week.

thanks as always.

if it is still running normally...shouldn't be too much to worry about...my MIL light went out after a few days once the system fuel trims reset itself following the Lambda hiccup!

yes, running spot on.

I think its a good investment to get the all comms while i'm out there.

cheers,

There is a guy on Landyzone with an unused one for sale, he bought it for his P38 and it doesn't do the P38, open to offers I would guess. PM and I'll forward details.:)

Data any chance you can send PM for details of all comms for sale if Don is not interested thanks.

Hi Guys.

Just got back and within 10mins of unwrapping the Allcomms, fault read and cleared.

Fab....highly recommended...a great price too.

Engine cooling fan control fault. Last occurrence - maximum signal
02 sensor circuit bank 2 upstream sensor. Last occurrence - maximum signal

Ahhh....told you it could be an O2 Sensor gone out of range....:D:D:D:D

Glad it is all sorted and the AllComms works....really helpful piece of kit
