I am a long time reader of this site and always found it very useful for information if I was unsure of anything to do with my freelander.
Unfortunately I had a bad crash in my trusty 03 Freelander last night and I am pretty sure it is a complete write off. Thankfully I was on my own and nobody else was involved, the only thing to get hurt was my pride.
Now the reason I'm on here. I had my Freelander for 3 years and absolutely loved it. It was a dream to drive and never once let me down, even last night I am pretty sure I would not have walked away unharmed if I was driving something else.
I'm looking at a 04 model now to replace it, could someone tell me if the facelift model has the same BMW engine as my 03? I really couldn't fault it and would like to stick with it. I wish I could really go up the years but its not financially possible at the moment.
