My 2003 D2 Automatic T5 has Engine Resonance / Vibration / Rough Spot which seems to be related to engine RPM, just under 2000. Any more than that you drive through it and all becomes nice and smooth & quiet again.
I would really appreciate any suggestions.
I am a bit new to this Forum so appologies if I have posted this in the wrong place.

maybe injector seals how and when does this happen cold/hot

Happens all the time, hot or cold, makes no difference. It only happens at just below 2000 RPM, below or above that, it is OK

MAF sensor failure? Mine takes off like a rocket over 2000 rpm, below that it's sluggish, and I've been told to replace the MAF sensor.

if maf was dodgy it would run flat all the time like no turbo boost

I think I have finally sorted the problem.
Quite simple really, nothing as serious as Propshafts, Exhausts, Crankshaft Pulleys, Flywheels, Torque Converters, Engine Mounts etc. Turned out to be the Plastic Trim which covers the Sills. Fixed them more securely and the resonance has gone!!
What a relief, hard to believe something so annoying and loud could be so simple
