hi just wondering how long normally to remove an engine & autobox from a classic . been all day to remove one one more to go then replace one and had help from the wife we are both sat down and very tiered cool beer i think wine for the lady :D
 
3 hours with spanners and a fully equipped workshop and a car lift and transmission jack, etc etc etc.


Yeah but he int got any of that ****..


takes me anything from 4hrs to a full day depending on state of the motor amnd how tight some fooking idiot of a spanner monkee has retightened everything..

you added that **** i was talking about ,with spanners on the floor,with jacks not ramp ,i wernt bragging just answering ive a mate who used to banger race whos much quicker

How the **** do ya get an engine out with a jack??? :confused: I'm a god and even I need an hoist..
 
now your just looking for **** ,presumably the same way he did ,do you have a problem with someone been better than you
 
lower it to the floor

It dun't get it out though Just leaves it sitting lower. :D yu'd have ta jack the motor up and drag the engine out. But the Engine would be sitting on the jack so yu'd have to lift the engine to get the jack out :confused: Which takes ya back to needing an hoist :doh:

noooo .... lower it down, move the vehicle then kick it orf the jack ;)
