Just replaced points/plugs/condenser/ht leads/dizzy cap/rotor & coil. Motor runs (or seems to anyway, fine) but just noticed a couple of times today that when I switched it, off it over ran a bit. Dont know whether its a timing fault or not cause theres no pinking/backfire or loss of power or, whether its something to do with the ignition itself, cause sometimes the key will start the engine when you release the key instead of engaging it.
Bit baffled, help/advise would be appreciated.

I was told "they all are prone to over run" - dont believe it myself - but mine duz evry now and then.

This annoying trick is allegedly caused by little bits of red hot crap stuck in a cylinder or two.

It used to be claimed that a good strong dose of RedEx would help cure this.
