Hi,

I have a 200tdi in my garage for a series 3 conversion, what is worth doing to it while the engine is out?? I am already doing the cambelt is there anything else i should change while its easy?? I was considering doing the head gasket but its not leaking so should i just leave it??
 
Spigot bush was 83 pence for my 200.
Crank seals defo use genuine only.
Check the starter works before fitting the engine as mine looks a right arse to replace

Cam belt and crank oil seals as already mentioned. I have had to do manifold gaskets in the past as well.
