I have managed to get my engine, auto box and transfer out by myself in one lump. Can I set it on the ground? Will I wreck the sumps or should I make up some supports?
Cheers

Make up some supports. Blocks of wood will do and maybe a couple tyres to cushion it.

Whatever you do get it secure, on a pallet would be best.

Had an engine fall off a pallet 2 weeks ago and was fecking heavy - with boxes attached it will be massive lol

Pallet with landy (or similar size) tyre on it...sit sump inside tyre...
Would suggest splitting it from the boxes asap - makes life a whole lot easier! :)

I lowered mine on to two large wooden blocks, one set either side under the sump to engine block seam, with another block under the transfer box. No weight on the actual sump base at all. Left it connected to the engine hoist with a small amount of tension, so it couldn't fall off the blocks. Hellish dangerous if it topples off!

I did try to put a 2 1/4 series lump - complete with box, transfer etc. on a Black and Decker Workmate once ...:eek::eek:
