hey guys dont know if ive put this thread in the right place im new to this site
i wonder if anyone can help
i have a freelander 1.8 s 3 door
basically when i am stood still or idling/warming up to temp
there is a knocking sound of some sort,
it isnt there when i first start the car only when it gets warm
and you cannot hear it while driving. It has been converted to a 2wd probaly to save the engine i can deal with that but im starting to think the bottom end is going all power is still there.
the idle needle bobs a little when stood still
oil on the dipstick is normal
im doing a service on the car on tuesday to see if that helps, the car has done 76000 miles.
anyone had this problem or knows anything about it?
cheers guys
