Hi guy,
My l322 vogue td6 2005 has developed a judder at idle and on acceleration after slow down. Holidaychicken put it in allcoms and pointed to map sensor, which I have changed but is still doing the same thing, any ideas? This is getting ridiculous drove back from Norfolk like it, lucky traffic was light. Only does this when engine is warm. Thanks.

Have you checked the pipe to the MAP sensor and the spigot in the manifold are clear?

There is no pipe to the sensor but i did not check spigot entry good point will do that tomorrow. Thank you

Thanks Datatek, I did not get around to cleaning up the entry port for the sensor spigot to go into. I am removing the inlet manifold and egr valve this weekend and deep cleaning them, do you recommend a product to clean out the spigot entry port on the back of the engine. I am going to gunk the manifold and use egr cleaner on the egr valve. Thanks.

I assume the manifold is plastic, so I don't know, I use acetone on the metal stuff but you cannot use that on plastic.

The same 3.0tdi engine on the bmw x3 has vacuum engine mounts, did LR fit these to the l322?o_O
This same car has a vibration complaint at certain engine speeds??

Anyhow, I thought BMW's 6cyl were supposed to be the smoother engines??
On a 5cyl like the Volvo and VW units maybe...

Vacuum Mounts??? Are you sure they are not Hydraulic Mounts - as are fitted to the L322 also?!?
