Hi all I have a 4.4 v8 range rover with the bmw m62 engine, this morning on the way to work it came up with engine fail safe and went into limp mode and come up with hdc air suspension in active but air ride was good. I turned it off and then back on and it drove the rest of the way to work without issues. Been looking on here is this usually throttle body?

Could be a lot of things, diagnostics is the way to go. What not hurt to check simple stuff first. Low battery is a common one this time of year, can put GB into limp mode I believe.

^^^^^^ Diagnostics is the way forward, could even be damp in the electronics behind the trim in the left hand quarter in the boot.

As above low battery voltage can bring up HDC inactive I some times get it with brand new battery fitted, check battery voltage with multi meter, air suspension tends to come up when battery re connected and needs to reset steering angle sensor
