Does his fan work? Because as I said he won't of heard it unless the o/s temp is above 35 degrees. You could disconnect the coolant temp sensor & run it but like mine you'll need to clear the over temp situation.
Update on whether the ac fan works, it does.
Yesterday the temp was registering 30° and the fan was working with the ac on.
Maybe the 35⁰ is incorrect?
Who knows along as it works, engine temp was mid 80s.

Yes it is, even though the correct 28*C is still too high IMO, it should be triggered by the refrigerant's pressure rather than the ambient temp, i made a wiring mod as the fan to start every time the aircon is on regardless of outside temp, see attachment
