could anyone recommend a good engine cleaner that i could use on my p38 range rover please as i have had a oil leak and the butler had told me to fark orff and clean it myself

i tried to sack em tonight then realised that I couldn't cos it was me i am the butler chief bottle washer and general dogsbody

Can you steam clean an engine or is that a bad idea ?

I done mine a couple of weeks ago I used something from work called traffic film remover and it came up like brand new.sprayed on left for ten minutes then whitewashed off.

I got some Yankee stuff called imaginatively 'engine degreaser'. Got it from costco when they were sellingit through a while back. When it were first in, it were 40 quid for 2.5 gallons. I paid 10.

It made short work of the caked on brake crud on a test set of alloys! !
