Tolerances on F1 parts are incredible. I fit fire suppression systems to the spark eroder machines for one of their suppliers. These machines take microns off metal parts, and can take hours to produce one spline or gear.

Also heard it can take a few hours to get a F1 engine started , always heard that the engines were virtually seized due to the very tight tolerances , but did recheck as it was years ago I heard that and see that’s not the case, just takes a while to get everything warmed up before they can be started

Also wonder how much tech from F1 goes over into production vehicles
 
I think you'll find a lot of tech does, indirectly.
Eg things learned by developing f1 cars.
Even simpler things like tyre developments, new compounds and tread etc
