I'm just starting to put 2 & 2 together here so any help to get me to 3 would be appreciated, a few weeks ago started to notice I would get a sudden drop in power while driving along mainly at around 70, thinking that the injectors might be clogging up I put in the usual additive to clean the system out. Still there, I’ve started thinking it might be the start of a turbo problem but it’s every now and then. This week need to drive to Coventry that’s when the emission light started to flash on only for a few seconds and if backed of it went out. I’ve had a quick look at different threads and it’s possible that one of the pipes that linked to the turbo could be split or the solenoid is on its way out, put if anyone had this problem and they have an idea what this might be please let me know.

Is it a td4 ?. If so when you give it more gas does it hold back and the light stay on until you lift of off the gas, sounds like mine did. It turned out to be the lift fuel pump upon reflection it was making a be of a din before the pump packed up all together in the middle of nowhere it cost me get it towed home.

Just to update anyone how may have the same problem, the problem was traced to a split in the pipe from the turbo to the inter-cooler.
