depends on the emergency for wading depth doesn't it?

if it was a volcano erupting behind me and I had to try and wade through 6 ft waters, then I'd attempt it :D

Would you go down with your landy like a captain with his ship or would you get out and swim?... lol

The wading depth is the wading depth. You might get away with deeper 9 times out of ten but the tenth time you might blow the engine block apart. I did. Bastid!!!!!

we off road a lot on pay and play days, and we have 1 friend who has a disco 300 tdi, who is always more than happy to be the first into unknown water depth... once he feels his truck start to float that spit second before it goes glug glug glug into the river he will turn it off and let it sink, we then pull him out, he opens the bonnet, takes out the injectors cleans them out and off he goes again... yes he does have a few screws loose but i think its pretty clever he has never killed his...

or just plain stupid haha...

Just as a matter of interest,

has anyone ever seen anything written down about how the Royal Marines set their Landies up for deep wading?

Cheers

Neil

the snorkel is the 2.5na one that goes in the heater intake vent. i dont know if its a complete kit and for 400 sheets am not about to buy it, certainly there are some dash component there.
