Thanks! I have been trying for several months to disconnect the emergency down hill grade retard on my 2001 Land rover discovery 11. I know it is costing $$$ in fuel.. I have not been able to locate the fuse or other device??? HELP!!! bcom 3049

Do you mean Hill Descent Control (HDC)? Yellow button on the centre dash? Try fuse 25 in the passenger fusebox.

Take the bugger out of low box and HDC don't work

BTW there's nowt emergency about hill descent control....not if you activate it before you slide down that 1:1 muddy hillside
