Hello

I need to switch it off for about 60 miles as it is too wet to get underneath.

What is the quickest way to turn it off?

Relay?

Fuse?

Want to trigger locked bars if possible.

Green. I've had a series of faults recently culminating in having to have it lifted to Astwood. Hopefully will be sorted this week!

It would mean either paying someone to fit it (and who knows what else will turn up) or having the car off the road for ages as I don't have time to do it myself. Neither is an attractive proposition. The Discovery has served me well for 10 years and 70,000 miles so although I had every intention of keeping it till it expired (which it has now effectively done) it owes me nothing. Sad to see it go but there's always a silver lining.....

Mine is 53 reg but paid for so I would be tempted to even rechassis it, but probably not at Astwood as other specialists are likely to be cheaper (like the ones on D2BC).

But then should I own a high maintenance vehicle which I only work on myself if it is dry (and warmish)?
