You're bored aren't you?
I'm not in the the Blue Oyster Club scene myself, so you can get that idea out your head.

Had a number of those bluetooth adapters, love the Torque app the full versions great! When i had my old fiesta i made a slide in slide out holder where the stereo used to be for my android tablet, so i had a big gauges gor mpg speed HP etc. All on the big screen in the dash, my current adapter doesnt like the D2 so will get another, different ones work with different cars :( my old man said theres a new app using the bluetooth adapter that can open your car for you when youre near or press it on the app from your phone! @gstuart im not sure that the Torque app is available on ipad? ios, the appstore etc. Think its android only, least it used to be :)

thks, i did read it somewhere it was ok, assume they've updated the software

however if it doesn't i see there's plenty of others through the app store

by the looks of the software u can out different live data gauges up onto the ipad

i.e., all live data

mpg , map, maf, turbo boost , etc ,etc

You'll be hard pressed to find a single one of those little blue tooth things to work on the Td5 D2. The doozle Disco didn't become fully OBDII compatible until the D3 in mid 2004, as you're now probably well aware since you've already been looking for a Nanocom or Hawkeye.

Yeah I've had my Hawkeye a while now, only want a working adapter if there is one to get the bits and bobs on the stereo as it used to be pretty cool in my old car, obviously live data on a Hawkeye isnt all that clear as you have to go through every single one whereas nanocoms got a nice screen and Torque throws it in any config you like with gauges n the sort! If I do get round to finding a working one for the D2 I'll share it

Darn you....................

Not only £20.............Now i have to spend an extra £8K to buy a vehicle it works on..............................:(

Cheers

Very nice, Gary, But it's worth noting for others that your Disco is a D3 and therefore fully OBDII compliant.
The device you're using is probably not going to work on a diesel Discovery 2.

TBF to Gary,

he did start the post, he has prefixed it with Disco3.

Anyone who reads it and makes an assumption it fits a D2 TD5 without doing their homework does need to get to know their motor a bit better......

Cheers
