hi new to the 4x4 world and have always liked landrovers so ive just picked 1 up and thort id better join a form room for hints and lerning hope to may be 1 day help others being in a garage enviromentas i have seen a few fail mots ect.
base in cambrigeshire if any 1 ese wound like to make friends and go off roading green lanes or days out also work for a breakdown company so i gess i better carry more feul lifter pumps lol

What landy have you got? Got any pics?

Why would you wanna carry fuel lift pumps on yer truck? They don't fail that often.:confused: Jump leads, Prop U/J's, wheel bearings, spare hoses and a reel of wire are all you need to fix 99% of landys at the side of the road.:p

Are you a breakdown mechanic or recovery driver?

I don't think we have that many guys in Cambridgeshire ( I might be wrong) but there are a big group of guys and girls in the Hertford area.
 
every year i get called out to peterbough show ground and 9 out of 10 its lift pump.... and anwser to ur question is both a driver and tech
