hello all, when im driving along and use something electrical in the car like the electric window or the heated screen or even the indicators i feel the engine pull back a bit, like a surge of power!
thought it must be a bad earth somewhere?
any ideas?

start off with the battery connections

then try strapping an earth from the battery to the engine, you can do it with a short jump lead
that gets rid of the cheap and easy solutions

Another cheap and easy solution would be to clean up the main body earth. It's located behind the battery, black cable from battery - looks like a cable clamp.
Unbolt, clean surfaces to bright metal and reconnect. Even if it doesn't cure your problem it's worth doing.

If that don't work check for damp/corrosion in the fuse box etc.. and I'd check your alternator while your at it. Such symptoms are caused by too greater volts drop on the whole system hence battery leads and earth first then follow it in.
