Hi all

Had my 110 for a few months. When I got it I knew it had a cut off switch for the battery though it's either extra security or has a drain on the battery.

Turns out its a drain on the battery.

With the ignition off the ignition circuit stays on.

Checked the ignition switch wiring, replaced the ignition switch but turn out the white ignition wire stay live regardless.

Have had a good look can't see any wires spliced into the white ignition anywhere. The immobiliser isn't functioning. Ie has a new wire running to the stop solenoid and glow plug relay.

Immobiliser is still sealed, could this be my problem feed?

Any ideas on likely places to look would be appreciated. I'm fairly good with electrics... Normally.

Ps

It's a 1997 300tdi csw. Was built by special vehicles for the forces and demobbed in 2011. Don't have any more info yet.

start off by tracing the drain,
multimeter on "A" mode in line with the circuit.

easiest way is to take off the earth, and stick it inline there, and start pulling fuses till the drain goes, then go from there.
the imobiliser is one of the fuses marked see manual, the higher A one, afaik it doesnt do anything else, so should be fine leaving it out.
