this is a good one... (defender 90 1987)
indicators work fine when sidelights are on, as soon as you switch to dipped beam indicators stop??
ani ideas??

sounds like a bad earth to me. The cable is capable of carrying small amounts of current under it's current condition but when larger currents are drawn it breaks down.
