Dear reader,
During heavy rainfall my windscreen wipers decided to quit, both movement and sprayer. The horn also has quit. I checked the fuse box but that seems fine...
Anyone any suggestions where to look for?
Thank you!

Or corrosion in the fuse box connections. I have a 90 that needed the fuses removed and cleaned a couple of times a year

Funny I have just had a similar issue where the wipers stopped halfway across the screen. It is not quite the same as you as I still have power to the washer but my job for this evening is to strip the motor cover off and check the convectors and then to check the switch. The switches have a habbit of burning out the contacts where it connects to the main loom so is worth a look.

It is also worth checking that the wiper arm spindle rods are not starting to seize in their tubes causing electrical over load.

Funny you should say that. After dismantling everything this evening the root cause of my issue is the drivers side wheelbox. It is a little stiff, and having freed it up and got it moving nicelt with no wiper arm fitted, once reassembled the cog wheel slips on the cable if there is any resistance (wiper on screen) so a "new" wheel box for me. I hope I have one in my box of rebuild parts because form memory when I stripped the bulkhead it had the later style wheel boxes which I couldnt use and needed the early style.

A mate had wheel box's that went stiff and started the fuse blowing now and then. So he fitted a larger fuse. That solved the problem for a while until the box's seized solid and led to a total melt down of the wiper system and more.

Tomorrow I will check the fuses and fuse box once more. Keep you updated
interestingly mine had not blown the fuse, so despite jamming to the point of the mechanism being stationary the fuse did not blow which I thought was strange. I have the correct rated fuse fitted.
