The drivers door window just suddenly stopped working last week, it's a '06 110.
I tried the fuses and tried changing over the switch from the passenger side but no luck.
Is there any common fault or do I just need to get out the circuit tester and start from scratch ?
Are these wired through the ECU or just old fashioned power straight from switch to motor ?

Have you checked the loom that goes from the body to the door? I've got an 05 td5 and my drivers window stopped working a few weeks ago - turned out that the wiring for the electric window had snapped. Replaced the loom and all fine again.

Thanks for that, exactly the problem.
Just pulled off the rubber boot and hey presto a broken wire !
Got out soldering iron, 10 mins and job done.
