im changeing the colour of my interior and the seats im looking at are manual
this isnt a problem for me, but will it be a problem for my becm as my current seats are electric?

Worst case it will be a setting change in the BECM, Irishrover is the man to ask.

The Becm will be fine.
Bet you will soon be missing the electric controls though !!!!

Electric seats = slow and unreliable, I miss them like I'd miss a hole in the head, give me manual every time

just swap the manual seat covers onto the electric frames, I did mine, its not a big job,

Do I have to stitch the covers on or are they just a matter of pulling the old off and pull the new on?

Look at RAVE, no stitching involved, just bloody hog rings and things. Not too bad a job.
