The rhs front electic seat has stopped working. Any advice as to cause and how to remove the seat as I can`t get to screws as it won`t move to undo the rear screws. Also any info on location of seat relays or fuses would be great. I have found a row of fuses under lhs seat and they are ok, can see another block under rhs seat but cant reach them, would they control this seat.
Any advice gratefully recieved.

Before you take the seats out, swap the relay from the seat that works to eliminate that first.

If the relay still does not work the seat, pull the seat control buttons off the control box, remove the cover and spray some contact cleaner into the switches. Work the switch levers back and forth to work the contact cleaner into all the crevices.

If still no luck, check all the wiring for splits and cuts.

Remember there are two motors for the seats and it is unlikley that both have gone at the same time.

Swap over the switch from the working seat.

If this works then suspect the switch on the defective seat.

These are quite dear to buy but you can get the same switch for early mecedes cars from Euro car parts, they are the same.

Thanks for that, just a thought but do you know where the wiring splits on the lhs front central locking accuator. Ihave the panel off and a replacement to go in but was expecting to be able to split the loom near the lock. It seems as if the connector is by the leading edge of the door and it doesn`t seem very easy to thread the wiring thru the inside of the door panel.
Any thoughts appreciated.

What is wrong with your central locking?

Actuator does not work on that door, not too bothered as I have a donor classic to get the bits from.
Thanks for your help.
