Hello All from Seoul, Korea!

I am previledged to own the only Defender 90 in Korea. Winter in Korea can be bit rough, and it takes more than 15 minutes these days to warm up the cabin. I understand that installing an electric engine heater can do the trick, but sadly, such part is not available in Korea.

I would greatly appreciate it if you can refer me to a part supplier (online or offline) that carry such heaters. Phone and fax numbers would be appreciated.

By the way, will installing electric engine heater shorten the time it takes to get the heater going in few minutes? Please let me know if you have any other recommendations.

Thank you!

I would have thought an electric heater in the cabin would have heated up quicker. It's what they do on modern cars until the engine is warm.

I think the man is after a block heater as per sweden/norway etc
Google the frog heater and kenlowe both are mains powered.

I reckon YHK may be better of with an eberspacher style heater, that way no need for mains power.

What mains voltage do they use in Korea?.
Make sure you get one that works on your voltage. Even in the UK it takes an age for my TD5 to get warm. Even with a radiator blind fitted.
