Why will electric cars suddenly last longer than a regular modern car? It's not usually the engine/transmission that can't be fixed, but the booked on bits, computers etc
I agree that the plethora of gizmos on modern cars are unnecessary. The average car stereo has more features than the average driver can cope with. The only gizmo Id like but have never had is a heated windscreen especially as the weather will soon require me to find my scrapper.
I was referring to the battery and electric motor/transmission.
It's infinity less complicated with much fewer moving parts, so there's less in theory to go wrong.
There are many EVs well over 200k without any problems at all, and very few ICE vehicles can do that.
