You say your turning the key 4 times to the left to start with, earlier cars you didnt do that, just made sure you started from the car being locked. what year is your car?
 
I often get a message in the dash display that says 'press remote to start engine' after entering the EKA, sometimes the EKA won't disable the immobiliser without me pushing the unlock button on the fob

It sounds like you have a deeper issue though - BTW sometimes I hear a 'chirp' when entering EKA and other times nothing, I do see the indicators flashing when entering the code though. Hope you get it sorted
 
i think im gonna have to bite the bullit and send off my bcem and ecu buy my only concern is what if its not the bcem and something to do with the it not recognising the unlock sequence these fu****g rangies.

Diagnostics might be cheaper, the EKA code can be entered via a Nanocom:)
 
i have no one near me who will come out to check i,t thats the problem ive asked on here but no one local,or no one willing to hire one out to me
 
mozz was round mine the other day for about 3 hours and he was miffed aswell it just isnt right somewhere need diagnostics to diagnose least then if it is bcem ill send it off to rick with a big box ov sweeties lol
