Have you been at the booze cabinet or just mixing prescription drugs again :p

I like more than badly typed eggs on plates, sausages, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and beans no less!

but had others in the parcel as well , i think there for another discovery, not sure of model , lol

Good save :p

not sure what they are for, does it look like they fit anywhere else?

Perhaps they are for a D4 3ltr with bigger EGRs?

I don't have such peculiar things on my dinosaur of an engine, we still run push rods don't you know :cool:

really hard to see the blanks underneath the pipes, ;), will be even harder to spot when fitted on the engine block

in all fairness i doubt they will even look, but don’t want to take that chance , so will just put these blanks in and pipes back on, simples;):D

I bet you'll go one step further and bolt them in place on the pipes and set to with the Dremmel with a drum sander on to notch them out to the exact flange face lol

oh bloody hell , ur a mind reader ,, i can just see a small bit which i will indeed stick them on the bench grinder

i better make sure i don’t let go of them other wise it will turn into james bond, hearing a thud next door and his wife thinking he’s been killed by a hit man, ;);):D

Don't forget that if you have the engine cover fitted on a td5, the MOT tester is not allowed to remove it. With it fitted he would be hard pushed to see if the EGR is still in place or not.......
