done full engine service on my free lander td4 took egr and iar intake off cleaned it with oven cleaner very messy job all back together looks like new every thing seems ok been told to blank egr but will this put engine light up ?

No, it won't illuminate the engine light. You'll be fine.
Next time, put your post in the Freelander forum rather than the general one. More people with Freelander's will see it.
