Seeking a bit of advice, is there any real advantage to spending £50 on a decent EGR bypass kit for my TD4 or just take the vacuum pipe off and block it with a small bolt? (And I presume fit short length of blocked pipe to vacuum inlet on EGR to keep crud out.)
I appreciate there will be less air-resistence in the bypass, but it's hardly an F1 car.......
I recently had my EGR off and cleaned it, didn't notice any gasket fixing it to the manifold though???
