HI all.
i´m a proud owner of a 98 P38 DSE

but there are same echoes that i need tweaking.. EGR remove and de-CAT.

does any one have do it all ready? in my previous car, a disco 300TDi this modes did great improvements in performance and mpg.
ex: turbo starting to spool at 1400 rpm ;)

and since this boy are heavier and a bit lays ..
taking out the center muffler is another thing,,but only after having a power box.

in the beggining mine was running with a straight through exhaust front to rear, induction kit with cold air feed, breather system is vented to atmoshper (omega cam cover) to stop oil going through the intercooler and the turbo is turned up to 20psi which all together made a healthy increase in power. since then its come along a lot further but thats a different story, get them mods done and enjoy some extra bhp mate.:D

hi,have you bought your power box yet??.if not this is the first thing you should buy.it will give you a great power improvement over the standard engine.MPG will not suffer either,not unless your right boot is permanently pressed to the floor that is.i am very happy with the one fitted to my p38 diesel.:D:D
 
going to bye one soon ;) and still going to eliminate EGR and CAT. :D

both gives some extra torque at low rpm and even better more mph.

the cold air is also a good investment , and for last, putting my wonderful "dwayne device" from 3 bar racing

in my old 300 i add some piping made from alu. to increase thermal transf. i was like to have a bigger inter cooler!! woh! that and the mod of deaching cat and egr.. i was getting turbo spool at about 1400 rpm, . later a hibrid it. :cool: a bigger turbine at 1.4 giving a massive 550grs extra air over stock..at about 2200-2500 i could over take any car faster than a td5 ! still with 30-31 mpg. :) being able to run in 4º gear at 1150 rpm easy ans still with power to get away fast

what have you done since them? the exhaust, what did you notice in this one?
