Can anyone help I have a discovery 3.9 efi that I am putting in a 90 with extra short rear end how do I get a tank under the seat with the discoverys fuel pump in tank

I will have a look under mine later which has a similar setup, and try and post some pics. Only difference is, mine is a low pressure pump for carbs, whereas you will need a high pressure one for EFI

If you are using EFI, then you do need the EFI pump.

you can get an in-line efi pump from most efi cars. it only needs to have enough pressure to open the pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail which is the same pressure as most normal efi cars. the pump should be mounted at a lower point on the vehicle than the tank if possible so it doesn't run dry. old jags and merc's usually have them tucked underneath near the tank.

im settin myn up with a derv tank form a series i think it was, using the level sensor from that and using eBay - The UK's Online Marketplace to pump it
