Cheers. Actually the question wasn't worded too well what I meant to say was would I need a different ECU, but your reply answers that question anyway.
the 4.0 thor ecu will adopt when the 4.6 is fitted takes about 5-10 of running to adopt and does not/cannot be chipped.
but if you have a gems ecu one then it will run but will need to be chipped to work better
