Just wondering if anyone could shed any light on this? (2000 td5 90)

other month ecu played up and long story short injecter harness was changed, with a couple of other bits done.
Today while driving, ecu light came on again but this time lost acceleration (no electricity to pedal!). Had a fiddle and turns out when i dip clutch light comes on and no power to acc. pedal. Played with fuses for a bit and got it working. Half hour later while driving engine cut out, then a small electrical fire started. Its now back in garage again!!

Please, any ideas?!

:wtf:

under the drivers seat is the ecu, check it for oil damage the oil will travel all the way down the loom into the ecu its a very come fault with them

Got that problem sorted when it was last in garage, this is a new problem! leads and plugs to ecu are still dry though

rip it out a fit a 300tdi and then you can throw away that stupid ECU rovers biggest mistake was fitting a ECu to a offroad vehicle i love the TD5 units shame about head gasket and ecu problems...
