D2 2001 TD5 with auto gearbox is running fine, just seem to have some ECU issues and don't know where to start to fix it. Maybe it are two different issues.

Some warning lights on the dash are not light up with start and don't work since few a weeks.

- Glow plug light
- ACE warning
- M+S
- Rear ride level
- Traction Control

Except M+S switch the systems seems to work, just don't show up on the dashboard.

M+S Switch auto gearbox
When i use the M+S button i can see a response on the Nanocom. (program switch open/close)
Just the switch give no response on the gearbox anymore.

ACE system
Ace is not working good for some time and on my list to fix. Normally amber light comes up after 20 a 30 sec. Now the amber light isn't coming up.
Nanocom gives beside the ACE pressure faults who where there already (37-06 ECU Fault) and (13-03 Egine speed missing). When reseting faults my Nanocom say Unable to perform function.

Thinking maybe it can be the main ECU. Buy a ECU and just try, or some other ideas to check first?

If you have nanocom go into the BCU - Settings - Instrument pack and see if the settings were not accidentally altered e.g to be set to manual, petrol and those warning lights to not be disabled... also you have output tests for all those warnings... nanocom used to mix up those settngs without request

for the ACE disregard the fault codes cos in most cases they are incorrect, read live data

all those problems have nothing to do with the "main ECU'' (what ever you mean by that) cos in what you described 4 ECUs are involved

Thanks, and you are right about the BCU settings. Settings where Pertol, manual gear without ACE, SLS and the other options. Can't imagine I changed this.

Next step now is to get ACE working again. Pump and pipes are close to new. Can't get live data, because ace disable in 10 or 15 seconds after start.

I told you, Nanocom can change those settings without request once plugged in, it used to have a mind of it's own from time to time

Yes, the system disables the relay when a fault is present.... you'll have to remove the ACE relay(R14) and make a bridge in the fusebox's cavities instead terminals 30 -87 of the relay then read live data and report the results then i'll tell you more

Thanks for the help. Here i have a fault log and live ACE data. The live ACE is a CSV file just needed to change extention in TXT to upload it.

What I see in live data is roadspeed is not correspondent with actual road speed. Roadspeed i read in the Nanocom under TD5/ TD5 Engine/ Input Fuelling is the correct roadspeed. Mabey the signal from ECU to ACE ECU is disturb?

According to those readings i'd replace the pressure transducer first also you can check the resistance of the solenoids, the following data is from a well working system:

CORRECT ACE INPUTS

1. DCVs (both) - .001A

2. Pressure control valve: 0 - .012A

3. Pressure sensor: varies between 16 and 19 but if it's out of that range the transducer is gone

4. Residual pressure: between 3 - 6 Bar but can be higher after the vehicle was driven or the ambient temp is low

5. System pressure: around 6 Bar fluctuating

6. Accelerometers: 0.01

for troubleshooting purpose: the resistance of both DCVs(top of the valve block, DCV1-toward front; DCV2-toward rear)= 2.7 Ohm, pressure control solenoid(on the left side of block) = 5.7 Ohm.

Many thanks.. going to replace that pressure transducer to start with. Nanocom tricks me because of the many errors it gave.

(sorry for my worse english)
