Hi Guys, Hope someone can help me with this? I have just replaced my Front o/s wheel sensor plus new CV joint also replaced rear n/s wheel sensor as they where faulty. Now I have a code telling me EBV function fault received from ABS Ecu. I should also say I have also replaced the ABS. I know what the EBV function does but there is not faults going up from any of the wheel sensors so this should be coming up. I would ignore it but the ABS light is still on. Hope some one can help. Thanks

If you are talking the 2002-2005 L322 - this is a non-existent function....it is a legacy left over from the BMW days and is not used on the L322.

Hi Saint.V8, Thanks for the quick reply that's put the mind at rest now I have just to find out why the ABS light is still on? I think it might be that I need to drive it for a distance since I replaced the wheel sensors.

Hi Saint.V8, Further to the problem ABS there is a fault code for the ABS valve relay being faulty which I think is what is putting the ABS light on. I believe in one of your posts you say that there is no relay in the ABS system a part from one inside the ECU. I have changed my complete ABS unit as this was the fault with the original unit but now the replacement has the same fault. Can you suggest a fix for this or is it a case of having to send the unit away to a repair shop?. Thanks
