He's probably skint like the rest of us

waste of time , you wont get anywhere with ebay. all they can do is sit him on the naughty step for a while. Ebay dont own the goods he does;) unless they send ebay police round....:D

he probably stuck it on on a 99p free listing weekend .... tight gits like that are just a pain in the butt, either pay for a reserve, buy it now or list at a realistic starting price otherwise all the watchers and bidders are just wasting their time.

I say go and get it mate !

I'll take the engine off you for a good price, shall we say 75p and you'll have got all the rest for 24p. Bargain !!

Everyone's a winner (well nearly everyone)

:D

In all seriousness if eBay do defend what's he's done it would set a precedent and they won't be getting any extra fees for adding a reserve price because everyone can do what he did in the description.

Go round with a pound ,expect change and while you tow his chassis away watch his kids eating dirt and his wife setting off to sell her arse on a street corner, dont forget to spit in his face.

Heartless Bastards

can i have the front prop

happens to me all the time... everytime i get a bargain they wont part with the item!!!

drives me mad...

ebay dont give a ****...

I sold the old steering box ( which I realised I needed just before end of sale) for £5 the guy drove from derby to get it. Of course I handed it over. I am an honest person.

Bid again when he relists it and get it up to a grand or something high but possible so he thinks its not a **** take then dont pay for it and see how he likes it

rules are rules , Yes he should of set a reserve.. But how many of you would sell a 200 tdi engine and gearbox in working order for £1;), and also the amount of scrap value on the chassis. I wouldnt.
