During my search for new 90 I put my email in an open message on here and received an email, basics as follows:
Lady from Elgon who's husband recently died and had men trying to buy Landry 90 td5 (?) With fake notes have ebay ad for a buy it now price of only 3400 for a 2002 90!
I emailed back despite some alarm bells saying can't see ad.
Email received saying just give my ebay profile and she will send link. If I then pay money ebay will deliver vehicle for my inspection over 3 days and if I don't want it they will give full money back!
Wow, could I resist? Yes as I think I know ebay don't do this. I just deleted all emails at this point.
Just thought I would pass on what I am 99% sure is a scam and they got my details off here, but I do stand to be corrected, any takers?

Elgin seems quite a popular place for the scammers.

I think they just looked on a map and chose somewhere that looks very out of the way, in the hope that no one will want to go look at the car, and are happy to get it 'shipped'.
