It could have been assembled pre 98 so therefor a hybrid and not a ringer?
Yes but surely a percentage of the hybrid vehicle must be of the original registered one with the original tax exempt chassis. That chassis is definately not the original 1966 one. She's a ringer.
nope.
Pre SVA you could cut down any chassis and practically do what you wanted and as long as it passed an mot and had a registration it could be driven on the road.
you could have a range rover chassis with disco running gear, a defender body and a series registration.
You didn't have to prove anything to anyone and the points system hadn't been introduced yet. Thats why its difficult to prove without speaking to visa/dvla. Hence the reason we report them. If there done legally then no drama, if there not then they get it taken off them and crushed.
I take it that's the reason why the SVA was introduced then?
So what are AVCIS doing about it, 5 days later, still for sale on ebayReported to AVCIS. Clearly not a legit tax exempt motor and as already commented, every chance is more sinister.
just sent him a meesage saying ,,its my red 90 that was stolen ,see what he says now !
